Pastor Todd became a born again Christian on January 3, 1993. Shortly thereafter, the Lord allowed his path to cross with his future spouse, Tina Ward. The couple then wedded on January 8, 1994. Pastor Todd and Tina were blessed with their first child, Jonathan, on January 19, 1996.

In March 1998, he announced his call to preach the Gospel and was ordained in July 1998. Preacher Todd became the Pastor of St. John Free Will Baptist Church in Patrick, South Carolina on Mother’s Day 2000, where he led a successful ministry for two years. On November 6, 2001, God Blessed the Black Family with their second child, a baby girl, named Hannah.

Pastor Todd was called to pastor the Converse Free Will Baptist Church in November of 2002. Pastor Todd is currently the seventh Pastor of this church that was organized in 1956. Through Godly leadership, wisdom, and the salvation of souls, Pastor Todd was able to lead the congregation into a building and relocation project. The over 11,000 square foot facility was completed in January 2006, renamed Turning Point, and continues to thrive for the Kingdom of God today. In the meantime, Preacher Todd continues to display leadership by example in making Matthew 6:33 his priority verse in ministry.
